ADMISSIONS PATHWAYS

Three pathways into Dental Surgery Assisting.

6 months

Foundation Certificate

Assigned where the 2-Year Diploma admissions assessment indicates further preparation is needed — not selected directly.

2 years

Diploma in Dental Surgery Assistant

The flagship pathway. Entry follows an admissions examination and interview.

12 months

Professional Diploma (Upgrade Pathway)

For practising dental assistants with at least one year of documented experience.
